Car Hire Scam

I hire a fortuner in phuket for 3 weeks/ was'nt cheap. before i drove
it away the hire car company marked down on a picture of the vehical
all marks/scratches/dents etc....

And when i took the car back,
as soon as id paid the hire charge, this small thai guy jumped up from
going over the car like a rash and shouted DAMAGE!! and pointed at a
scratch on the near side rear, i said look at the paper work,that
scratch was there before and you marked it down. here's my copy see!!
And here's what he said! That mark Small mark/this mark big more than before!!

What's
the odds on me marking the vehical with a scratch in the exact place as
before but making it an inch longer/ i had to pay?
